Just a short walk from the Eiffel Tower and the banks of the Seine, the location of this apartment is almost a cliché !      Within five minutes are the grassy lawns of the Champs de Mars, the recently opened and very popular Musée Branly (museum of primary arts), and, just cross the river the Palais de Chaillot, The area is residential, with fine 19th century apartment buildings and good restaurants !    The RER high speed metro will take you within minutes direct to the Musée d’Orsay (cross the river for the Louvre), or continue one more stop to the Boulevard St Michel and the Left Bank, Ile de la Cité, Notre Dame.     The metro line 8 will take you direct to the Palais Garnier Opera, the Bastille Opera, and the delightful muddle of little streets which constitutes the Marais !

  • On the first floor of an 18th Century apartment building where the workers of the Eiffel Tower were lodgd, with an elevator, this is a pleasant family style apartment of some 86m² – pleasantly furnished with a mix of antique and contemporary furniture, comfortable but not luxurious.    Living room with comfortable chairs, TV, DVD player. 
    Very well equipped Kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, and cooker with 6 hobbs) with dining furniture, tiled floor.      All the other rooms have polished parquet floors and the Bedrooms are small but have good hanging and shelf space.     Bedroom 1 :    overlooking courtyard, queen size double bed.     Bedroom 2 :  overlooking courtyard, twin beds.    Bedroom 3 :  overlooking street, twin beds.     Bathroom with tub.   Separate WC.   Double glazing throughout protects from street noise.       Gas Central heating.   Initial linen supplied.
