Just around the corner from the famous Marché Daguerre -
a pedestrian street entirely devoted to gastronomic pleasures ! Bakers, cheese and
regional speciality stores, restaurants buzz with locals, while others just watch the
world go by from pavement cafés. The area used to be, and still is, a haunt of
that particular species - the Parisian intellectual, as well as jazz musicians, etc .
Two metro lines will take you direct in 15 mins. or less to the Latin Quarter,
Boulevard St Michel, Ile de la Cité, Notre Dame, the Conciergerie and much more.
Direct bus to Musée dOrsay. RER line to both airports. A real
Parisian quartier, near to everything but will not break the budget !
In a late 19th C building straddling an arched entrance,
from which you take a typically exiguous Parisian elevator to the 4th floor.
This traditional airy three room apartment (approx 50m²) has rooftop views with
lots of sun. Recently entirely refurbished and equipped to a good standard,
with comfortable modern furnishings, polished parquet floors throughout, two pretty but
non-operational fire-places, pretty pastel walls - warm and welcoming.
- All rooms are off a central hall. Tall double glazed windows face east onto Avenue
General Leclerc : Living/dining room. Cable TV. Separate Sitting
room with comfortable double sofa bed, which can be used as a full time
bedroom. Bedroom overlooking courtyard, queen double bed. Excellent modern Bathroom,
tub, shower attachment. New modern Kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine.
