This is « Amélie Poulain » world ! If you loved the film you will enjoy even more discovering the real thing ! This welcoming two-bedroom apartment is situated in one of the prettiest cobbled streets of Montmartre. Shops of all descriptions sell delicious things, restaurants, cafés spill over the pavement, and yet not invaded by tourists. Real Parisians live here . 10 mins walk to the Sacré Cœur, Place du Tertre (5 mins down !), and on good direct metro or bus route to Champs Elysées, Musée d’Orsay (10 mins approx.), and easy access to all the other sites of Paris. We find the area truly delightful.
Totally renovated in summer 1998 to a good standard, and updated in 2003, this first floor* apartment of some 47m² overlooks a quiet courtyard with green shrubs. Carpeted throughout, and most agreeably furnished with quality modern pine. A great choice for those requiring two bedrooms without breaking the bank. The rooms are small but charming - like a little doll’s house ! We recommend this property.
All rooms give onto the small entrance hall, thus ensuring privacy. Most attractive Living room, with fresh green and yellow colour scheme, two comfortable sofas, glass dining table, TV ; Pleasant Bedroom 1 : double bed ; Bedroom 2 : twin beds. Small agreeable Kitchen with small electric oven, 2 hobs, washer/dryer. WC throne-like up 4 steps ! Bathroom with short bath and shower attachment. Electric heating. Initial linen supplied.
